About BRABU, Muzaffarpur
Bihar University was carved out of Patna Univesity in 1952 and also known as the second oldest university of Bihar. Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University is a state university which is located in Muzaffarpur, in the north prime of Bihar State and was established in 1960. This university is also known as BRABU in short form or Bihar University. There are 39 constituent colleges and 17 affiliated colleges and two Business Management colleges under B R A Bihar University as well as Distance courses are also offered.
