UPTET 2021 Eligibility Criteria for Primary I to V & Junior VI to VIII
Primary Teacher (Class 1-5) – Candidates must have completed 10+2 Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) OR Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6-8) – Applications must have passed Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 Years Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) OR Graduation with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year (B.Ed) Bachelor in Education.
