The winner of the Nobel Prize in physics will be announced on Tuesday.

Half of the 2021 physics prize was awarded to Syukuro Manabe and Klaus Hasselmann for their contributions in the field of climate modeling. The other half went to Giorgio Parisi for “the discovery of the interplay of disorder and fluctuations in physical systems from atomic to planetary scales,” according to the Associated Press.
