Patliputra University, Patna (PPU) is a state government public university situated in Bihar. it was established on 18th march 2018 by the order of the government of Bihar. it is situated in Patna city of Bihar state. all the colleges of Patna and Nalanda districts of bihar which fall under the jurisdiction of the this university except those attached to the Patna university. it has control over 25 constituent colleges, two government girls colleges, three minority colleges and a numerous of affiliated colleges. many of these colleges are running university approved Postgraduate centers in various disciplines besides skill-oriented courses in vocational and technical/ professional areas.
